We’re back for another year of winter wonderland fun in Hanmer Springs. Join us at the largest winter festival in New Zealand as we put on a 2 week long programme of events for all the family. Our programme isn’t out yet, but check out our 2025 programme below!
Ice skating is back for the 2026 Alpine Winter Festival, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back onto the ice.
After such an incredible response to the rink’s return, we’re excited to once again bring this much-loved winter experience to the heart of the village. Whether you’re a first-time skater or a seasoned pro, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the magic of winter with friends and family.
Expect heaps of fun, great atmosphere, and plenty of time on the ice throughout the festival.
